Molybdenum carbide

Molybdenum carbide has the characteristics of high melting point and high hardness, and is a new functional material with excellent corrosion resistance. It has been widely used in various fields such as high temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, and can be used as superhard tool materials, wear resistance materials, heating body materials and high temperature structural materials. And it has the electronic structure and catalytic properties similar to precious metals, and is widely used in catalysts for reactions such as hydrocarbon isomerization, unsaturated hydrocarbon hydrogenation, hydrodesulfurization and denitrogenation with hydrogen participation.
